I,ve hand printed 6 layers so far and there is probably another 6 or 7 to go. I initially cut the japanese vinyl block into three pieces( seperating the sky main mountain and foreground). As the reduction linocut has developed the block has been now cut into four pieces ( the shadow on the left). This is my first jigsaw linocut. Combined with the process of reduction linocut, it feels more like art engineering? But I,m enjoying the mental challange of planning and working our the best way to appeoach each layer.
