The Mount Everest climbers memorial, also known as Chukpi Lhara is a collection of stones and prayer flags at the top of the Thukla pass (on the way to Everest base camp). It honours both the local sherpas and international mountaineers who have died attempting to climb Everest.

This miniature painting was based on the artists' own observations/ photographs whilst in the Sagarmatha national Park, Nepal.

Currently on the shortlist for the Royal Miniature Exhibition.
