This was another newly built building in the village. It looked a bit out of place. Over the past seven days all the monasteries and stupas we had seen looked at least 100 years old. This one looked like it was recently made for a film set. Inside, the walls were covered in what appeared to be old Thangka paintings. It was only when my eyes adjusted to the dim light I realised they were actual photographs. I guess it takes time to build up a genuine Thangka collection.
